 <note>Abstract: This study investigates students' perceptions of the English language&#13;
program for speaking skills at MATIQ Istiqomah Sambas Islamic Boarding School,&#13;
Purbalingga. Employing a mixed-method approach, the study included both&#13;
quantitative and qualitative phases. Data were collected from 110 respondents&#13;
through questionnaires and follow-up interviews with six students selected from the&#13;
questionnaire. The research focuses on six key indicators to evaluate students'&#13;
experiences and perspectives on the program's effectiveness in enhancing their&#13;
speaking skills. The findings reveal that most students perceive the program&#13;
positively, considering it beneficial for improving their English-speaking abilities,&#13;
with 77.4% of respondents indicating a favorable perception, if classified, is&#13;
included in the high category. This is supported by the interview results, in which&#13;
students expressed that the program has been beneficial. However, some students&#13;
still face challenges in engaging with the program. The study concludes that while&#13;
the program plays a crucial role in developing students' speaking proficiency,&#13;
and opportunities, learning methods, practice in interactive further improvements&#13;
