EFEKTIVITAS PENGELOLAAN ZAKAT PRODUKTIF UNTUK PENANGANAN KEMISKINAN DALAM KONTRIBUSI MEWUJUDKAN SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGs) DI KABUPATEN BANJARNEGARA



In the world, the issue of poverty is still a big scourge, including in Banjarnegara Regency. Zakat and SDGs have a close relationship related to the goal of poverty alleviation. The productive zakat program, which includes productive business training and providing productive business capital as a way to help MSMEs to develop and be economically independent. This research aims to find out how the effectiveness of productive zakat management carried out by BAZNAS Banjarnegara Regency in handling poverty and contributing to realizing the SDGs goals in Banjarnegara Regency on the first point (no poverty). This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods with the type of field research. Data collection techniques were conducted through in-depth interviews, observation, documentation, and data analysis. Interviews were conducted with seven of the seventy mustahiks who received productive zakat assistance in 2022. Primary data was generated through direct interviews with leaders and staff of BAZNAS Banjarnegara Regency and related mustahiks. Observation is carried out by going directly to BAZNAS Banjarnegara Regency to observe the mechanism of productive zakat management and its usefulness in handling poverty. The results showed that the management realized that productive zakat in Banjarnegara Regency in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program has continuity in tackling poverty. The pattern used is the utilization of traditional productive zakat through business training and provision of business capital. The form of effectiveness has been seen with an increase in the capital of MSME actors and an increase in income. Productive zakat management has proven to be effective in alleviating poverty and improving the welfare of mustahik as measured through indicators compiled by the National Family Planning Coordinating Board (BKKBN) on the concept of family welfare; assisted mustahik have succeeded in fulfilling the Prosperous Family II (KS II) stage.
