xix, 123 hal.; 30 cm. + lampiran This study aims to assess and improve the Special Sports Class (KKO) program through the management and administration of sports facilities and infrastructure at SMAN 3 Purwokerto and MAN 1 Banyumas. This research is motivated by the importance of availability, readiness, and management of facilities and infrastructure as a critical component in the implementation of effective sports training programs in schools. This study uses a qualitative multi-location case study approach, involving school principals/madrasahh principals, deputy principals in charge of facilities and infrastructure, KKO supervisors, physical education teachers, and KKO students. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document reviews and compiled using POAC (planning, organizing, actuating, controlling) and SWOT models to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats involved in the implementation of the program in each school. The findings of the study show that SMAN 3 Purwokerto and MAN 1 Banyumas have good programs in planning structures such as having a multi-level training schedule every morning and are also supported by adequate facilities with limited school land. The management of school facilities and infrastructure works with rotational use, partnerships with other parties and sports clubs, as well as facilities that are limited to being used entirely in the development of student fitness. The results of the SWOT analysis of the two educational institutions show that the optimization of the KKO program can be achieved by strengthening facilities and infrastructure, restructuring training schedules, strengthening coordination between stakeholders, and increasing external partnerships. This study concludes that the effectiveness of the KKO Program is highly determined by the management of facilities and infrastructure that are planned, organized, well implemented, and monitored periodically. The results of this research are expected to provide a basis for schools and madrassas to improve sports coaching, formulate policies to manage educational infrastructure in Indonesia.
