<note>This study was motivated by the importance of using learning media that is appropriate for the needs of hearing-impaired students in English language learning. Limited auditory input means that they require a different approach, one of which is through interactive visual media that can improve understanding and motivation to learn. This study aims to describe how teachers at SLB B Yakut Purwokerto implement interactive visual media in English language learning for eighth-grade students and to identify the challenges faced by them in the learning process. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques of classroom observation, interview the teacher and documentations. The results showed that interactive visual media such as flashcards, educational games, and the i-chat telkom application were utilized by the teacher to help students understand the material. Flashcards are used to reinforce concrete vocabulary understanding, educational games increase student motivation and engagement through educational play activities, and the telkom i-chat application, designed for sign language learning. However, teachers faced challenges in the form of difficulties in finding appropriate media, language barriers and the use of sign language, as well as limited school facilities. In conclusion, the implementation of interactive visual media emphasizes that interactive visual media supports engagement and deepens the English learning experience of hearing impaired students.
